Capturing "The Record" in Court
Share
Capturing “The Record” In-Room and On-Zoom post-COVID (masks and plexiglass now gone) we discover many court clerks and administrators working even harder.
This is partly because the court recording software installed to capture “The Record” was not designed to record the participants on-line when it was originally installed. A common practice today involves a second recording (provided by the video conference platform) that is archived along with the court room software recording. Managing this responsibility lies with already overtasked clerks and administrators.
Speech2Data recorders allow busy clerks to manage only one multitrack file that includes everyone, along with the clerk’s log notes. Furthermore, recording, archival and retrieval of the “Record” can be completely automated using IT personnel.
